Teachers, researchers and students belonging to any of the three faculties are kindly invited to present original communications (oral and poster presentations).
Student participation is highly encouraged and will be academically recognised.
There are three main symposium sessions:
Animal health and Animal Production
Food quality and Food safety
Others (free topics)
Communications should be presented preferably in English.
Oral presentations will last 10 minutes and they will be presented in Microsoft PowerPoint XP format. Please check next document for more information.
Posters will have a maximum size of 70 x 100 cm. There will be a poster discussion session.
Student Competition: A prize of 150 € will be awarded to the best presenter in each of the oral and poster categories.
Submission of Abstracts
New abstract submission deadline: 8th September 2008
Abstracts of Original Communications must be submitted online, indicating the preference for oral or poster presentation. Authors must use the template provided to submit abstracts of Original Communications.
The deadline for abstracts submission has been extended until September 8 th, 14.00 hours. The application will be closed thereafter. Please, remark that this deadline cannot be extended anymore and abstracts submitted after this deadline will not be accepted.
Submission of Extended Communications
New extended communication submission deadline: 28th September 2008
The printed Original Communications programme and abstract booklet will be distributed at registration. The extended Original Communications will be compiled on a CD and will be distributed at registration. Please read carefully next documents before send the document.
